There is relief news for people who pay special attention to teeth cleaning and are very alert to oral hygiene. According to recent research, people who clean their teeth three or more times a day also reduce their risk of getting heart-related diseases manifold without damaging their upper layer.
According to the researchers, the chances of people brushing at least three times a day are reduced by 10 percent and the chance of heart failure by 12 percent. Also, the risk of an irregular heart beat is reduced by brushing in this way. This has recently come up in a new study in South Korea.
A study conducted on oral hygiene recently revealed that if the cleaning of the mouth is not taken care of, then the bacteria produced here can cause heart related diseases. The research was published by Korean National Health Insurance based on data received from about 1.6 million people. All those who did this research ranged between 40 and 79 years of age. During this time, all these people were tested for their height, weight, diseases, lifestyle, oral health hygiene and the like. Along with this, disorders such as gender, socioeconomic status, regular exercise, alcoholism, body mass index, hypertension were also diagnosed.
This research has revealed that if we brush at least 3 times a day we can reduce the bacteria in the subjugating biofilm very quickly, these are the bacteria that grow in the space between teeth and gums. These bacteria may lead to various diseases when exposed to the heart in different ways, including heart failure and irregular heartbeat.
